Varese Ligure
The village is 700 metres away and can be reached by a nice walk. All the necessary services are located there, including a public swimming pool, supermarket and various shops with typical organic products. We recommend the cooperative's butcher shop; very good meat, also organic. We will recommend the best local trattorias and pizzerias.
From Varese, the Cinque Terre and their Parco Nazionale can be reached in about 35 to 40 minutes by an easy scenic road, where one can take long walks overlooking the sea, but also visit their beautiful beaches and characteristic villages.
The Alta Via dei Monti Liguri and the Alta Via delle Cinque Terre meet on the crest of mount Zatta and form the two main routes of the Val di Vara hiking network. Trails allow you to discover nature and remote hamlets in the valley. The Alta Via dei Monti Liguri is a route of kilometres of paths at an altitude of around 1,000 metres that connect the extremities of Liguria, allowing you to admire the different landscapes of the region. The Alta Via divided into eight areas and the Val di Vara area is characterised by the presence of mixed deciduous forests and large grasslands used for grazing, valleys with varied forest cover and rural settlements along the minor ridges.

The cycle routes, both on dirt and asphalt roads, are suitable for different levels of difficulty and allow you to enjoy moments of recreation surrounded by a beautiful natural environment.
